Crispy Chicken Fajitas in Karahi

These crispy chicken fajitas cooked in a karahi are quick, flavour-packed, and perfect for wraps. Juicy chicken strips are stir-fried with crunchy peppers, onions, and tomatoes, then finished with a tangy soy, lemon, and chilli sauce mix for a delicious fusion twist.

  • 600 g Chicken fillets, cut into fine strips
  • 1/2 Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 Yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 Green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small Onion, finely sliced
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 Fresh green chillies, chopped
  • 2–3tablespoons Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Crushed black pepper, to taste
  • 1 packet Chicken seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli sauce

    Prepare the ingredients

    Cut the chicken into fine strips. Finely slice the onion and bell peppers. Chop the cherry tomatoes and green chillies.

    Cook the chicken

    Heat a karahi on medium-high heat and add oil. Once hot, add the chicken strips and cook until fully cooked and slightly crispy.

    Add vegetables and spices

    Add the onions, peppers, tomatoes, and chillies. Season with salt, crushed black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir-fry briefly, keeping the vegetables crunchy.

    Add sauces and seasoning

    Add the chicken seasoning. Mix lemon juice, soya sauce, and chilli sauce together and pour into the karahi. Stir well and cook until everything is well coated.
