  • 1 bowl Batu leaves, chopped
  • 1 small bowl Fresh fenugreek leaves (methi), chopped
  • 3 Potatoes, cubed
  • 2 medium Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 piece Ginger, crushed
  • 1/2bowl Garlic, crushed
  • 4 Green chilies (optional)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • 1 tsp Hing (asafoetida)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ghee (optional)
  • 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice

    Prepare Ingredients

    Chop the batu leaves, fresh methi, potatoes, onions, and tomatoes. Crush the ginger, garlic, and green chilies.

    Heat oil and ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
