  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 whole fresh red chilies, optional
  • 1 whole lemon, zest and juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch dried parsley or fresh parsley

    Prepare the chicken

    Wash the chicken breast fillets thoroughly and cut them into medium-sized pieces for even cooking. Lightly pierce the chicken with a fork to help the marinade absorb better, although this step is optional. Place the prepared chicken into a large mixing bowl and set it aside while the marinade is prepared.

    Make the garlic lemon butter marinade

    Grind the garlic cloves and chilies together until crushed and fragrant. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and olive oil, then add the crushed garlic and chili mixture. Stir in the lemon zest, freshly squeezed lemon juice, paprika, oregano, black pepper, salt, and parsley until fully combined and aromatic.
